When was the last time you felt genuinely good about what you were working on? The kind of good where time disappears, meals get skipped, and you go to bed buzzing with ideas, already excited for tomorrow.

And the next day? Were you burned out, or were you itching to dive back in?

I’m betting it was the latter.

This isn’t about “finding your passion.” That phrase has been hijacked to funnel people into nine-to-five jobs that prioritize profit over fulfillment. As entrepreneurs, we’re here to break out of that box—not rebuild it in a slightly different shape.

But there’s a catch. To build businesses that thrive, we’re constantly forced to navigate decisions that chip away at our values.

The Silent Trade-Off

We all face this dilemma. To make our businesses visible, we need to market. And when planning our strategies, the question we default to is, “Where is my target market?” Not, “Which platforms align with my ethics?”
